HRActive Ltd is run by Katie Thorpe, a professional HR Consultant with expertise across a range of public and private sector organisations, including elder care, learning disability, housing and the NHS.
Katie is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, and has been since qualifying in 1986.
She has a BSc in Psychology and a Post Graduate Diploma in Information and Systems.
She has over 20 years working as a hands-on HR professional and has dealt with the full range of possible staff issues that can arise in an organisation, from recruitment through to retirement. She is also experienced in dealing with disciplinary matters and employment tribunals.
As well as running HRActive Ltd she also employs 7 people who provide support to her disabled sister who lives independently in the community, so understands well the pressures on families.
