Keith's experience includes:
Setting up self direct as one of the co founders. Managing the changes that have seen self direct grow into one of the leading social enterprises in the UK involved in driving forward changes to personalise services in provider organisations across England and Wales.
Keith experience also includes:
· Innovations Director for Avalon, establishing a culture of inclusion throughout the organisation, and setting up social enterprises
· Development of a generic advocacy scheme covering Harrogate and District
· Establishment of 2 self-advocacy groups
· Setting up of a counselling service for people using mental health services
· Setting up of Craven & Harrogate Learning Disability Partnership Board
· At Leeds Metropolitan University teaching adults with learning disabilities: Self Advocacy and Music Appreciation and writing units of Accreditation
· Social worker practice teacher
